21 Days of prayer & Fasting

As we begin a new year, we’re setting aside 21 days to seek God together through prayer and fasting. This is a sacred time to clear the noise, refocus our hearts, and create room for God to speak. Whether you’ve fasted before or this is your first time, we invite you to join us with an open heart and expectant spirit!

MORE INFO

Beginning January 11th, we’re entering 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting as a church family, ending together on February 1st. During these 21 days, we will gather each Wednesday at 6:30pm for a special time of prayer and worship. These midweek moments will help us refocus our hearts, strengthen our faith, and seek God together.

We’d love for you to join us every Wednesday as we pursue God with intention throughout the fast!

TYPES OF FASTS

  • Refrain from consuming animal products, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, and refined or processed foods. Eat vegetables, whole grains, fruits, legumes, unleavened bread, and oils.

  • In this type of fast, you drink only liquids, typically water with light juices as an option. Drink only liquids (you establish the number of days).

  • Refrain from using social media during the 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting.

  • This fast is sometimes called the “Jewish Fast” and involves abstaining from eating any type of food in the morning and afternoon. This can either correlate to specific times of the day, such as 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, or from sunup to sundown.
